As monsoon showers intensify across India, BMW Group India has announced the launch of its annual Monsoon Service Campaign across its authorised dealer network. Designed to help customers prepare their vehicles for unpredictable weather conditions and heavy rainfall, the initiative offers comprehensive preventive inspections, complimentary vehicle health checks and expert aftersales support to ensure every BMW remains ready for the season.

BMW Group India has launched its annual Monsoon Service Campaign across its authorised dealer network, reinforcing its commitment to delivering comprehensive aftersales support as the country prepares for a season characterised by unpredictable weather patterns and intense spells of rainfall.

The initiative has been designed to ensure BMW vehicles are fully prepared to tackle monsoon conditions through detailed preventive inspections, complimentary vehicle health checks and expert technical assistance from certified BMW specialists.

The BMW Monsoon Service Campaign has been conceptualised to provide customers with expert guidance on vehicle care and timely maintenance during the rainy season. As part of the initiative, certified BMW technical experts will conduct complimentary vehicle health checks, enabling owners to assess the condition of their vehicles and prepare them for changing road and weather conditions.

The inspection programme includes an extensive range of preventive checks covering key vehicle systems. These comprise a windscreen wiper inspection, washer system check for both front and rear windscreens, verification of washer fluid levels, rain light sensor functionality, automatic wiper and headlight operation, headlight and fog light alignment, horn functionality, as well as inspection of micro filters with replacement where necessary.

In addition, technicians will examine the condition of door and trunk weather strips, inspect the sunroof cover seals and trunk lid ventilation, assess the sunroof drainpipe, clean the engine control unit E-box, inspect electrical plug connections in the engine compartment and vehicle underbody, and carry out a comprehensive tyre condition check covering tread depth, cuts, bulges, irregular wear and tyre pressure.

The preventive inspection also includes a visual assessment of the exhaust system for leaks or damage. For BMW Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), technicians will inspect the charging cable and high-voltage charging socket for signs of damage, corrosion and wear, while also conducting an underbody inspection to check for damage, correct positioning, corrosion and fastening integrity. Brake testing covering the condition of brake pads and brake fluid also forms part of the campaign.

These complimentary inspections are supported by advanced diagnostic tools and carried out by certified BMW technicians, ensuring meticulous attention to every vehicle. Customers can book service appointments in advance at their nearest authorised BMW workshop, where they will also receive personalised guidance on maintaining their vehicles throughout the monsoon season.

BMW India also continues to organise periodic service campaigns across the country to ensure BMW vehicles remain in optimal condition throughout the year. As part of the initiative, cars older than five years will receive a special discount under the “BMW Joy Rewards” campaigns. Details of these offers, along with additional vehicle checks, will be available at the service camps.
