CHARGE ZONE® powers India’s EV revolution with 13,500 charging stations

CHARGE ZONE®, India’s fastest-growing electric vehicle (EV) charging network, has hit a significant milestone by expanding its platform to over 13,500 charging stations, making it the largest EV charging network in the country. This expansion strengthens CHARGE ZONE®’s position as a leader in India’s transition to clean mobility and sustainable transportation solutions.

The impressive growth is a result of strategic OCPI-based roaming partnerships with top EV infrastructure providers, including Statiq, Bolt, Kazam, Pulse Energy, Chargemod, ElectreeFi, Evnnovator, and others. These collaborations bring together various EV ecosystems into one unified, interoperable network, enabling users to access charging stations across all platforms using the CHARGE ZONE® app. This integration ensures a seamless, reliable, and accessible charging experience for EV users throughout India.

Today, the CHARGE ZONE® network serves over 8,000 daily EV users and has surpassed 2.5 lakh app downloads. Nearly 70% of India’s electric car owners have used the platform at least once. The expanded infrastructure includes a diverse range of AC and DC chargers, catering to both urban and long-distance travel needs. On the AC side, CHARGE ZONE® provides 3.3kW, 7.4kW, and 10kW charging options for daily city use. For faster charging on highways and transit hubs, the network offers high-capacity DC fast chargers with power ratings ranging from 30kW to ultra-fast 360kW. These chargers allow compatible EVs to reach 80% charge in as little as 30 minutes, depending on the battery capacity.
