Ducati has unveiled a new racing-inspired livery for the 2027 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, drawing design cues from the Desmosedici GP and Panigale V4 R machines campaigned by the Italian manufacturer’s official teams in the MotoGP and Superbike World Championships. The high-performance crossover is scheduled to arrive in India next year, bringing together Ducati’s racing heritage, sporting dynamics and long-distance touring capabilities.

Created by Centro Stile Ducati in collaboration with Drudi Performance, the exclusive Pikes Peak livery blends visual elements from Ducati’s factory racing machines. Distinctive colour combinations and surface treatments lend the motorcycle a dynamic, contemporary appearance, reinforcing its sporting character.

The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak traces its lineage to the original Multistrada 1200 concept and celebrates Ducati’s association with the legendary Pikes Peak hill climb. Its defining features include 17-inch forged aluminium Marchesini wheels, a single-sided aluminium swingarm, long-travel sports suspension and an ergonomic riding position. Carbon-fibre components, a road-homologated titanium Akrapovič silencer, a low smoked windscreen, gold-anodised Öhlins fork sliders, a V4-logo seat and a Ducati Corse badge on the front beak further distinguish the motorcycle.

Power comes from Ducati’s 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, which develops 170 hp at 10,750 rpm and 124 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. Its linear torque delivery is designed to ensure smooth, progressive performance across the rev range. A counter-rotating crankshaft, derived from Ducati Corse’s MotoGP experience, helps counter the gyroscopic inertia of the wheels, contributing to the motorcycle’s handling characteristics.

The chassis combines an aluminium monocoque frame with Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active electronic suspension, which adjusts according to riding conditions using event-based logic. Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, measuring 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 190/55 ZR17 at the rear, complement the five-spoke forged wheels. Braking is handled by twin 330 mm front discs with Brembo Stylema radial callipers, supported by Bosch-Brembo ABS 10.3ME Cornering.

A dedicated Race Riding Mode sharpens the motorcycle’s responses, with a racing-style rev-limiter strategy, specially calibrated Ducati Quick Shift and more direct throttle response in High Power Mode.

The Pikes Peak features revised ergonomics, with higher, rearward-set footpegs and a lower, narrower handlebar to improve body movement and cornering control without compromising touring comfort.

Its electronic suite includes front and rear radar, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and Forward Collision Warning, alongside five Riding Modes, four Power Modes, Ducati Vehicle Observer, traction control, wheelie control and Engine Brake Control. A 6.5-inch full-colour TFT display, Ducati Connect and Vehicle Hold Control add further functionality.

With Extended Cylinder Deactivation and valve-clearance checks scheduled every 60,000 km, the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak combines performance-focused engineering with touring practicality. Its India arrival is expected in 2027.
