e-SPRINTO has entered India’s business-to-consumer (B2C) electric two-wheeler market with the launch of the G1, its first electric scooter aimed at individual riders and families. Priced from INR 89,999 (ex-showroom Delhi), the new e-SPRINTO G1 is available in three battery variants, with claimed ranges of up to 130 km. Customer deliveries are scheduled to commence on 1 January 2027.

Developed over nearly two years of research and development, alongside consumer research, the G1 has been conceived around the everyday mobility requirements of Indian households. Its combination of battery choices, selectable riding modes and practical features reflects the company’s ambition to make electric mobility accessible to a broader consumer base.

The e-SPRINTO G1 is offered in three variants: the 2.0 kW version, priced at INR 89,999; the 2.5 kW variant, at INR 94,999; and the 3.0 kW version, at INR 99,999. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

Three battery options offer claimed ranges of up to 80 km, 100 km and 130 km, respectively. Riders can choose between Eco, City and Sport modes, with respective top speeds of up to 30 km/h, 40 km/h and 50 km/h.

Designed for the varied demands of Indian roads, the electric scooter has a carrying capacity of 150 kg, 12-inch tubeless tyres and 165 mm of ground clearance. Its IP67-rated battery provides protection against dust and water ingress under specified test conditions. A Combi Braking System and digital display are also included, while navigation functionality is available through an optional subscription.

The G1 marks a strategic expansion for e-SPRINTO, which has built its presence in the business-to-business (B2B) electric two-wheeler segment. The company says more than 70,000 units are currently on Indian roads. Supported by three manufacturing facilities and an annual production capacity of 1.5 lakh units, it now intends to bring its operational experience to the individual consumer market.

Commenting on the launch, Shalu Gupta, Co-Founder, e-SPRINTO, said: “The launch of the G1 is an important milestone for e-SPRINTO as we expand into the B2C market. Our experience in the B2B segment has helped us understand that the relationship with a customer extends well beyond the product itself. Reliability, availability, service and spare-parts support are equally important. Over the past two years, we have focused on understanding the needs of Indian families and translating those insights into the G1. Our goal is to make electric mobility more accessible while building long-term trust with our customers.”

Atul Gupta, Co-Founder, e-SPRINTO, added: “The G1 reflects our ambition to bring our experience in electric mobility to individual riders and families. We have focused on practical requirements, including battery choices, riding modes, carrying capacity and features relevant to everyday use. As we enter the B2C market, our priority is to complement the product with a strong sales, service and spares ecosystem, ensuring that customer confidence remains central to our growth.”

The e-SPRINTO G1 will be available in Charcoal Black, Slate Grey, Horizon Blue and Pine Green. Customers can submit enquiries through the company’s official website, www.esprinto.in.

Alongside the launch, e-SPRINTO plans to expand its dealership network and strengthen customer support as it seeks to establish a stronger presence among Indian households. With three price points, multiple battery options and a focus on everyday usability, the G1 represents the company’s next step in the evolving Indian electric scooter market.
