Hyundai Lounge Edition debuts with premium rear-seat experience on three SUVs

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has introduced the all-new Lounge Edition across the CRETA, ALCAZAR and CRETA Electric, bringing a more sophisticated blend of comfort, connectivity and entertainment to its SUV line-up. Conceived around the idea of the modern SUV cabin as a premium personal space, the new Lounge Edition introduces an immersive rear-seat entertainment system, exclusive interiors and distinctive styling enhancements.

At the centre of the Lounge Edition is Hyundai’s 29.46 cm (11.6”) Rear Seat Entertainment System (RSE), turning the rear cabin into an immersive digital entertainment zone. It supports OTT content, interactive gaming, video streaming, applications through a Certified App Store and phone mirroring. The system is paired with the existing BOSE Premium Sound 8 speaker system with front central speaker and subwoofer.

The premium treatment continues with a Lounge-exclusive interior theme, premium seat design pattern, Moonwhite ambient light and distinctive styling details.

The Hyundai CRETA Lounge Edition is based on the King trims and is powered by the 1.5 l MPi Petrol iVT and 1.5 l U2 CRDi Diesel AT powertrains. Exterior changes include a new Golden Bronze colour, black-painted front and rear skid plates, side sill garnish, rear spoiler, roof rails, C-pillar garnish and ORVMs, alongside R18 (D=462mm) Matte Black alloys. Inside, it gains the RSE system, silver-coloured inserts, Moonwhite ambient light and a new lounge seat design with rear seat headrest cushion and Lounge branding.

The Hyundai ALCAZAR Lounge Edition, meanwhile, is based on the Signature variant and is available exclusively with the 1.5 l U2 CRDi Diesel AT powertrain. Its defining feature is an exclusive five-seater lounge-like configuration, complemented by a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof. It also receives the 29.46 cm (11.6”) RSE system, Lounge-exclusive interiors, silver-coloured inserts, Moonwhite ambient light, new lounge seat design and Lounge-branded rear seat headrest cushion. Exterior additions comprise Golden Bronze paint, black-painted detailing and R18 (D=462 mm) Black alloys.

The Hyundai CRETA Electric Lounge Edition is based on the Excellence Long range variant with Home Charger Option. It features Golden Bronze paint, black-painted exterior elements and R17 (D=436.6 mm) Black aero alloys. Inside, the electric SUV adds a dashcam, rear wireless charger, 29.46 cm (11.6”) RSE system, silver-coloured inserts, Moonwhite ambient light and the new Lounge seat design with Lounge-branded rear seat headrest cushion.

With these three Lounge Editions, Hyundai brings a common emphasis on rear-seat entertainment, premium cabin detailing and distinctive styling to its CRETA, ALCAZAR and CRETA Electric portfolios.
