Hyundai introduces VENUE Knight with striking black theme and advanced features

Hyundai Motor India Limited has expanded its compact SUV portfolio with the introduction of the Hyundai VENUE Knight, a striking new iteration that amplifies the appeal of its popular urban SUV through a bold, blacked-out aesthetic and curated premium detailing. Designed for customers seeking a more distinctive and commanding road presence, the latest addition to Hyundai’s Knight line-up blends visual drama with elevated sophistication.

Building upon the established success of Hyundai’s Knight range, the Hyundai VENUE Knight channels the enigmatic allure of black through a series of exclusive exterior and interior enhancements. The result is a vehicle that not only sharpens the design language of the standard VENUE but also elevates the ownership experience with a more refined and assertive character.

Visually, the Hyundai VENUE Knight distinguishes itself with an assertive stance underscored by a suite of blacked-out elements. These include a black painted front radiator grille, matte black Hyundai logos at the front and rear, black skid plates, and black-painted roof rails and ORVMs. Further accentuating its dynamic persona are black alloy wheels, red brake calipers, and exclusive Knight badging, all of which contribute to a cohesive and unmistakable design identity.

Inside, the cabin adopts an all-black theme complemented by brass-coloured inserts, lending the interior a premium and contemporary ambience. Exclusive black seat upholstery reinforces the Knight’s distinctive character, ensuring the interior mirrors the boldness of its exterior.

The Hyundai VENUE Knight will be offered with a range of petrol and diesel powertrains, including the Kappa 1.2-litre MPi petrol, the Kappa 1.0-litre Turbo GDi petrol paired with a dual-clutch transmission, and the U2 1.5-litre CRDi diesel in both manual and automatic configurations. This diverse powertrain portfolio ensures flexibility for customers across varying driving preferences and requirements.

In line with evolving safety expectations, Hyundai has also introduced a dashcam feature on select VENUE variants—HX6T, HX10 and N10. The system supports multiple recording modes, including driving recording, emergency and event recording, vacation recording, on-demand video, and photo capture. Notably, users can access instant video downloads directly to their mobile devices via a dedicated application, enhancing both convenience and peace of mind.

Further enriching the line-up, Hyundai Motor India has introduced two new matte exterior finishes—Hazel Blue Matte and Mystic Sapphire Matte—bringing an added layer of exclusivity and contemporary appeal to the VENUE range.
