IBM and Scuderia Ferrari HP have launched a redesigned mobile app aimed at transforming the digital fan experience for nearly 400 million Ferrari supporters around the world. Built with advanced AI features powered by IBM watsonx, the new app delivers an immersive and interactive experience that brings fans closer to the team, drivers, and every race moment.
For the first time, the app is available in both English and Italian. Among its standout features are the all-new Race Centre and Racing Insights, designed to enhance fan engagement during and after each race weekend.
Key additions include AI-generated race summaries that provide detailed recaps of the Scuderia Ferrari HP team’s performance within hours of a race’s conclusion. Using large language models on watsonx, these summaries translate complex race data into accessible narratives featuring reflections from the drivers and team principal.
The app also offers post-race insights and interactive data visualizations. Fans can explore telemetry, weather conditions, track status, session results, and car and tire strategies—all presented through dynamic graphics created with watsonx technologies.

Another feature allows users to access historical comparisons, analyzing current 2025 race moments alongside key milestones from Ferrari’s storied past. These insights, powered by IBM Granite and other LLMs, are integrated directly into the race summaries and additional app content.
Outside of race weekends, the app delivers continuous engagement with features like fan message submissions, interactive daily polls, and curated summaries of iconic Ferrari victories from decades past.
IBM and Ferrari plan to roll out even more features throughout 2025. By leveraging the power of AI and Ferrari’s extensive historical data, the collaboration aims to deepen the connection between the team and its global fanbase.
“IBM and Ferrari are bound by a shared commitment to progress, innovation and excellence,” said Jonathan Adashek, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at IBM. “With AI, we’re creating a new blueprint for digital fan engagement that brings fans even closer to Scuderia Ferrari whether it’s race weekend or not. The app is built with the same data and analytics technologies used by IBM clients across industries to achieve enhanced customer experiences, help their employees reach new levels of productivity and make more informed, data-driven business decisions.”
“This app is about bringing all our fans closer to the heart of the racing world of Ferrari,” said Lorenzo Giorgetti, Chief Racing Revenue Officer, Ferrari. “With IBM’s cutting-edge AI technology and our shared commitment to innovation and excellence, we are creating a digital experience worthy of the Ferrari name. The project has just been launched and will become more and more comprehensive in the next few months, maximising the potential of the tools that IBM is putting at our disposal. I can’t wait to see the fans interacting with this new app, entering a new dimension of the Ferrari experience.”
The updated Scuderia Ferrari HP app is available now for download on mobile devices via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
