The Indian Racing League (IRL) has formally announced that the Navi Mumbai leg of the Indian Racing Festival will no longer feature in the 2025–26 calendar. The decision follows the conclusion of the Goa Street Race, the fourth and final round of the season, where Goa Aces JA Racing emerged victorious in commanding fashion. The Navi Mumbai race will instead be incorporated into the forthcoming Indian Racing League season, scheduled to commence from August 2026 onwards.
Marking the end of what has been widely regarded as a highly successful and exhilarating season, the IRL has also declared its official champions for 2025–26, based on revised standings.
The season unfolded across four electrifying rounds, beginning with two outings in Coimbatore, followed by a high-octane stop in Chennai, and culminating in a spectacular street race in Goa. Each round built progressively in intensity, delivering a compelling showcase of competitive motorsport.
Goa Aces JA Racing have been crowned Teams’ Champions for Season 4 of the Indian Racing League, finishing atop the standings with 141 points accrued from their five best results across seven races. They secured the title with a slender yet decisive six-point margin over Speed Demons Delhi, who concluded their campaign with 135 points.
In the Cars’ Championship, Car #5 pairing Raoul Hyman and Fabienne Wohlwend of Goa Aces JA Racing claimed top honours with an impressive 101 points. Kolkata Royal Tigers’ Car #24 duo of Sohil Shah and Thomas Canning secured second place with 81 points, while Speed Demons Delhi’s Car #22 combination of Alister Yoong and Caitlin Wood completed the podium with 75 points.

Akhilesh Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director, Racing Promotions Pvt. Ltd. (RPPL), said, “This edition of the Indian Racing Festival has been a tremendous success, showcasing the very best of Indian motorsport talent alongside some of the most recognisable names in Indian entertainment and sport. Congratulations to Goa Aces JA Racing on a well-deserved Championship win, and to Raoul Hyman and Fabienne Wohlwend on a stellar Cars’ Championship — they were outstanding throughout the season. The level of competition across all six franchises this season has been a true reflection of the growing stature of the IRL, and we are incredibly proud of what this league has become. We look forward to raising the bar even further in the next edition, which promises to be our most exciting edition yet.”
The Goa Street Race provided a fitting crescendo to the season, delivering a dramatic contest in which Goa Aces JA Racing sealed the championship in emphatic style. Victory in the feature race, courtesy of Raoul Hyman and Fabienne Wohlwend, ensured the team concluded the season at the summit with 141 points. Speed Demons Delhi followed closely with 135 points, while Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru secured third place with 115 points. Kolkata Royal Tigers finished fourth on 107 points, ahead of Hyderabad Black Birds on 86 points and Chennai Turbo Riders on 75 points.
Adding to the league’s growing appeal, the Indian Racing Festival continues to feature a distinguished roster of team owners drawn from across sport and entertainment. These include John Abraham (Goa Aces JA Racing), Arjun Kapoor (Speed Demons Delhi), Sourav Ganguly (Kolkata Royal Tigers), Naga Chaitanya (Hyderabad Black Birds), Kichcha Sudeep (Kichcha’s Kings Bengaluru), and Dr. Swetha Sundeep Anand (Chennai Turbo Riders), each representing their respective franchises with notable enthusiasm.
Looking ahead, the next edition of the Indian Racing Festival is poised to be its most expansive yet, with six rounds scheduled across India, beginning in August 2026.
Beyond the spectacle of racing, the Indian Racing Festival, powered by JK Tyre, fuelled by Nayara, and supported by Mobil1, continues to drive India’s motorsport evolution forward, bringing world-class racing into urban landscapes while inspiring a new generation of enthusiasts.
