Jaguar TCS Racing win Formula E World Championship after dramatic London Finale

Jaguar TCS Racing have secured their second ABB FIA Formula E Teams’ World Championship in three seasons following a dramatic finale in London, beating nearest challengers Porsche by 17 points.

The British outfit finished the 2025/26 campaign with four wins, ten further podiums and 288 points from Mitch Evans and António Félix da Costa. The result also confirms Jaguar TCS Racing as the most successful team of the GEN3 era, with two of the four Teams’ World Championships, as well as more wins and podiums than any other team.

Together with Envision Racing, Jaguar’s customer team, Jaguar-powered teams have claimed three of the four Teams’ World Championships in the GEN3 era.

Mitch Evans ended his final race for Jaguar after a decade with the team by taking fourth place. The Jaguar TCS Racing #9 driver finished third in the Drivers’ Championship with 160 points, nine behind Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein. Evans leaves Jaguar as the most successful driver in the marque’s history and, with 16 wins, the most successful driver in Formula E to date.

António Félix da Costa was classified P15 after running strongly in the opening stages and battling for a podium before dropping down the order. The Portuguese driver completed his debut Jaguar season sixth in the Drivers’ standings with 128 points.

The Jaguar I-TYPE 7 – Jaguar’s most advanced and efficient Jaguar electric race car ever – is also the most successful in the team’s ten years in Formula E, with ten wins and 17 podiums. Technology proven by Jaguar TCS Racing has directly enhanced development of the Jaguar Type 01, the new luxury four-door GT that will be revealed later this year.

Evans said: “Today I’m proud of the way I raced, I’m proud of the team – and we came so close. Again, I was stuck behind Nico Muller and though I was able to get through eventually, I’d simply lost too much time to the lead guys.

“The team’s strategy was spot-on though, so thank you to them for today and for the last ten years. It’s been a great journey together.”

Félix da Costa added: “To take the Teams’ World Championship in my first season with Jaguar TCS Racing is an incredible feeling. I felt at home so early on in my time with the team, and so to achieve what we have done this year is phenomenal and I am so proud of everyone.

“It is unfortunate for Mitch that he just missed out on the Drivers’ title, but he has been a great friend and team-mate throughout the season, and an absolute pleasure to work with. It was a tough battle against the Porsches, but I am just so pleased we got it done on the final day.”
