KTM has moved with characteristic precision to broaden the appeal of its acclaimed mid-capacity portfolio, introducing new 350cc engine variants of the KTM 390 Duke and KTM 390 Adventure. The strategic expansion positions two of India’s most sought-after performance motorcycles within reach of a wider spectrum of riders, without diluting the essence that has defined the brand’s success in this segment.

For years, the KTM 390 Duke and KTM 390 Adventure have stood as benchmarks—celebrated for their razor-sharp dynamics, sophisticated electronics, and compelling performance credentials. With the addition of the new 350cc variants, KTM builds upon this legacy while leveraging India’s lower 18 per cent GST bracket, enabling a more accessible entry point into the brand’s premium ecosystem.

In a move that underscores KTM’s engineering continuity, the 350cc variants retain the marque’s unmistakable ‘Ready to Race’ ethos. Both motorcycles deliver 41.5 PS of power and 33.5 Nm of torque, while preserving identical wheelbase, ground clearance, rider ergonomics, and technological architecture. The KTM 390 Duke continues to embody an aggressive, precision-focused streetfighter tailored for spirited urban riding, while the KTM 390 Adventure maintains its dual-purpose prowess—equally adept at long-distance touring and genuine off-road exploration.

The KTM 390 Duke with the 350cc engine is priced at INR 2,77,268, while the KTM 390 Adventure with the 350cc engine is available at INR 2,80,905 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Meanwhile, KTM’s existing 399cc line-up—including the KTM 390 Duke R, KTM 390 Adventure S, KTM 390 Adventure X, and KTM 390 Adventure R—continues unchanged, ensuring enthusiasts still have access to the full spectrum of performance options.

This expansion signals KTM’s intent to democratise access to performance motorcycling in India. By lowering the barrier to entry while preserving the core attributes that define the 390 range, the brand is poised to expand its already thriving rider community.

Speaking on the development, Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said: “The KTM 390 Duke and KTM 390 Adventure are among the most aspirational motorcycles in India, and this expansion is about making that aspiration a reality for more riders. The new 350cc engine variants allow us to pass on the 18% GST benefit directly to our customers, lowering the entry price to the range while preserving everything that makes these motorcycles exceptional. This is about growing the 390 community and bringing genuine KTM performance within reach of a much larger audience.”
