Maruti Suzuki Brezza Turbo Boosterjet launched with sportier design and enhanced technology

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has introduced the New Brezza Turbo Boosterjet, a performance-oriented addition to its popular compact SUV line-up, designed to appeal to young Indian customers seeking a more engaging and expressive driving experience. Conceptualised around the theme of ‘Spontaneous Play’, the New Brezza Turbo Boosterjet aims to blend spirited performance with everyday versatility, with introductory prices starting at INR 7,39,900.

The New Brezza range continues to offer the proven and refined K15C Dual Jet Dual VVT engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology, catering to its strong legacy of over 1.4 million customers. The K15C variant now comes with a new 6-speed manual transmission, alongside a 6-speed automatic transmission with steering-mounted paddle shifters, positioning the SUV as an appealing choice for customers driven by ambition and aspirations.

At the heart of the New Brezza Turbo Boosterjet is a turbocharged petrol engine delivering 81 kW of maximum power at 5500 rpm and 170 Nm of torque between 2000–3500 rpm. The SUV offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.47 km/l^ and is paired with an all-new 6-speed manual transmission designed to enhance driver involvement.

The K15C-powered New Brezza offers improved drivability, reduced NVH levels and fuel efficiency of 21.09 km/l^ with its 6-speed transmission options. Customers can also opt for the New Brezza S-CNG, which features a new underbody fuel tank configuration for uncompromised boot space, Idle Start-Stop technology and a claimed efficiency of 26.9 km/kg^.

Visually, the New Brezza receives a refreshed design language while retaining its signature SUV stance. A new Smoke Chrome Grille, Metallic Grey Bull Bar and Skid Plate design lend it a more premium appearance, while refreshed Dual-Tone Side Cladding and new Precision-Cut Alloy Wheels with sharper geometric styling add to its youthful character. The Turbo Boosterjet variant also receives exclusive “Turbo Boosterjet” branding.

Safety remains a key focus, with the New Brezza engineered for a 5 Star Bharat NCAP safety rating~ and equipped with features including Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Emergency Stop Signal and Exit Support Warning.

The SUV also features an enhanced 360 View Camera system with three new views, along with front and rear parking sensors.

Inside, the New Brezza introduces a technology-rich cabin featuring the SmartPlay Pro X with a 25.65 cm (10.1”) touchscreen infotainment system, built-in internet connectivity, over-the-air updates, Alexa voice assistant, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay#1. Premium speakers, Surround Sense powered by Arkamys and a 64-colour ambient lighting system further elevate the cabin experience.

The SUV is offered in new colours including Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige, alongside Pearl Bluish Black, Magma Gray, Sizzling Red, Splendid Silver and Pearl Arctic White. Dual-tone options include Lustrous Beige with Bluish Black Roof, Arctic White with Bluish Black Roof and Sizzling Red with Bluish Black Roof.
