NEW DELHI
Mercedes-Benz has inaugurated India’s first Mercedes-Benz Studio at DLF One Horizon Centre in Gurugram, Delhi NCR, bringing its new global brand experience format to the country for the first time. The opening also saw the Indian debut of the striking CONCEPT AMG GT XX and the launch of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 e-bike range for Indian customers, developed in partnership with EMotorad.
Designed to bring Mercedes-Benz closer to customers in leading metropolitan markets, the Studio aims to build awareness among new audiences and foster long-term customer relationships. Rather than serving solely as a conventional automotive retail space, it brings together vehicles, design, lifestyle, culture and exclusive experiences, allowing visitors to engage with the brand in new experimental ways.
Located at DLF One Horizon Centre, the Mercedes-Benz Studio features a curated vehicle display alongside a design and material library, Mercedes-Benz lifestyle collection and Mercedes-AMG X adidas merchandise. An exclusive Lavonne Café completes the experience, creating a warm, modern luxury environment for customers, enthusiasts, families and first-time visitors.
The Studio is designed around Mercedes-Benz’s brand promise of ‘Welcome Home.’ It forms part of a worldwide initiative that will establish such exclusive Studios in more than 14 leading cities across four continents, following the world’s first Studio in Copenhagen. Each Studio is tailored to its city’s character within a defined global framework.
The initiative also forms part of Mercedes-Benz’s 2026 landmark of “140 Years of Innovation”, marking 140 years since Carl Benz’s original patent. The Studios are intended to create destinations where culture, innovation and urban life converge, while strengthening the marque’s presence in the heart of key cities.
An exclusive collaboration with Lavonne Café introduces 16 Mercedes-Benz-inspired creations, comprising eight petit gâteaux and eight viennoiserie and bakes. Each is plated, glazed and finished using design cues inspired by Mercedes-Benz, including sculpted lines, metallic lacquers and a luxury palette of black, silver and gold.
Visitors can also purchase Mercedes-Benz Collection items and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS X adidas merchandise, while test drives can be booked through the Mercedes-Benz India website before visiting the Studio.
CONCEPT AMG GT XX Makes India Debut

The Studio opens with the first Indian display of the CONCEPT AMG GT XX, the pioneering Mercedes-AMG technology programme unveiled globally in Affalterbach in June 2025.
Finished in sunset beam orange, the concept features a dynamic fastback silhouette, double-bubble roof, sharply raked windscreen and no rear windscreen. Six circular deep-red taillights sit within conical sidewalls, reinforcing its dramatic design.
Its engineering is equally ambitious. Three axial flux motors produce more than 1,000 kW (1,360 hp), while a high-performance battery developed from scratch supports the AMG.EA architecture. The concept has a drag coefficient of 0.198 and incorporates active aerodynamic wheel technology, electroluminescent MBUX Fluid Light Paint and innovative LABFIBER materials.
At the rear, an MBUX Fluid Light Panel uses more than 700 programmable LEDs to display text, animation and the vehicle’s state of charge. Most remarkably, the CONCEPT AMG GT XX delivers an average charging power of more than 850 kW, adding 400 km of range in just five minutes.
With its Gurugram debut, Mercedes-Benz is consequently bringing together luxury, technology, design and culture in a new urban setting — while giving Indian audiences their first close look at one of Mercedes-AMG’s most radical visions of high-performance electric mobility.
