Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited has announced a significant leadership transition within its Sales, Marketing and Digital function, with Executive Director Jan Bures set to conclude his global assignment in India before taking up a new position at Volkswagen AG from September 2026. As part of the organisational restructuring, Managing Director & CEO Piyush Arora will assume additional responsibility for Sales & Marketing across the Group's Indian operations, reinforcing the company's strategic focus on growth, customer-centricity and operational agility.

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited has announced a key leadership transition within its Sales, Marketing and Digital function, marking the next phase in the Group’s evolving strategy for the Indian market.
Jan Bures, Executive Director – Sales, Marketing and Digital, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, will conclude his global assignment in India before assuming a new role at Volkswagen AG, effective September 2026. While continuing his journey within the Volkswagen Group, Bures will take on his new international responsibility following his tenure in India.

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India expressed its appreciation for Jan Bures’ contribution to the Group’s growth journey in the country and extended its best wishes for continued success in his new assignment at Volkswagen AG.
Following this leadership transition, Piyush Arora, Managing Director & CEO, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, will take on the additional responsibility of Executive Director for Sales & Marketing for the Group in India.
According to the company, the enhanced leadership structure has been designed to strengthen strategic alignment across the organisation, accelerate decision-making and reinforce accountability as the Group continues to expand its presence in one of the world’s most significant automotive markets.
Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, which represents six aspirational automotive brands—Volkswagen, Škoda, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche—reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the Indian market.
