NEW DELHI

STUDDS Accessories Ltd., one of the world’s leading two-wheeler helmet manufacturers, has launched the Helios Effect, the latest variant of its flagship full-face helmet. The new edition introduces a bolder visual identity to the Helios range while retaining the comfort, protection and rider-focused engineering that helped the model establish a strong presence across India and several international markets.

Originally developed for Southeast Asian riders, the STUDDS Helios first debuted in the Philippines, where it quickly gained traction in the competitive full-face helmet segment. The model later expanded into markets including Colombia and Mexico before arriving in India, where it has since emerged as one of the company’s more visible premium full-face offerings.

The Helios Effect joins the existing Helios line-up that already includes the Unicolor, D1 Asphalt, D2 Circuit and Superman Edition variants.

The latest Effect graphic adopts a more aggressive design approach, defined by sweeping polygonal surfaces, sharp geometric edges and contrasting colour zones inspired by contemporary sports car bodywork and performance fairings. Broader colour sections along the jawline taper sharply towards the crown, lending the helmet a more planted and dynamic stance on the road.

Among the six available colourways, the Black & Chameleon Blue variant features iridescent pigments that shift between turquoise and green depending on light and viewing angle, while the Black & Red Metallic Foil uses foil detailing to create a more reflective finish than conventional paint applications.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director, STUDDS Accessories Ltd., said, “The Helios has been an important model for us, both in international markets where it first found its audience and in India where it has built genuine momentum. It was designed for riders who want a full-face helmet that does not compromise on features or protection, and that is what it has consistently delivered. The Helios Effect gives that same product a more expressive graphic identity.”

The helmet features a silicone-coated dual visor system with an integrated smoked sun visor, along with an AntiFog100 lens designed to maintain visibility in humid and wet conditions. STUDDS has also equipped the Helios Effect with a dynamic ventilation system, aerodynamic rear spoiler, regulated density EPS liner and a high-impact engineering thermoplastic shell.

The Helios Effect carries both ISI certification under IS 4151 and DOT certification under FMVSS No. 218. Weighing 1.4 kg, the helmet is available in Medium (57 cm), Large (58 cm) and Extra-Large (60 cm) sizes across six colour options.

Prices for the STUDDS Helios Effect start at INR 3,445. The helmet is now available through offline retail outlets and exclusive STUDDS stores, while availability on online marketplaces is currently underway.
