Tata Motors, one of India’s leading automobile manufacturers, has launched the All-New Altroz at a starting price of ₹6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). With significant updates in design, technology, and performance, the new Altroz aims to redefine the premium hatchback experience for Indian customers.
The 2025 Altroz brings a refreshed exterior, a tech-rich cabin, and improved connectivity features. It now includes a broader range of powertrain options, including an AMT transmission for the first time. Tata Motors has designed the new Altroz to elevate daily commutes with a focus on premium styling, advanced safety, and enhanced driving comfort.
The Altroz has already made a strong mark in its segment as the first and only hatchback to receive a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. Building on this foundation, the updated model introduces several new design elements such as flush door handles, infinity connected LED tail lamps, Luminate LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, and a 3D front grille. These updates add to the Altroz’s bold and sophisticated road presence.
Inside the cabin, the new Altroz features executive lounge-style rear seats with improved thigh support, a soft-touch dashboard, ambient lighting, and a spacious layout, aiming to offer a refined and comfortable in-car experience.
Powertrain choices now include petrol, diesel, and Tata’s iCNG twin-cylinder technology. Transmission options have also expanded, with buyers able to choose from a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed DCA, and the newly introduced 5-speed AMT, which brings the convenience of automatic driving to a wider audience.
