Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder gets new Aero Black Edition

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has introduced the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition, bringing a more assertive and youthful design character to its popular B-SUV. Conceived for style-conscious customers, the limited-edition offering builds on the Hyryder’s established road presence with a series of blacked-out exterior elements and sporty detailing.

Priced at Rs. 31,999/-, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition styling package is available across the Midnight Black G and V grades, covering both Neo Drive and Strong Hybrid powertrains. The package will be offered for a limited period, until stocks last. Customers can also further personalise their SUV with the dealer-level value-added ‘All Black Package’, available at an additional cost.

The Aero Black treatment brings together several exterior enhancements. These include a Front Grille Upper Garnish for a sleeker front fascia, a Front Spoiler that sharpens the SUV’s stance, and a Headlamp Garnish that lends greater distinction to the front-end design. At the rear, a Tailgate Garnish continues the premium black theme, while a Rear Spoiler introduces an additional sporty accent. Completing the package is an exclusive ‘Aero Black’ Limited Edition Badge, highlighting the special nature of the SUV.

Since its launch in 2022, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has crossed the 2-lakh sales milestone, establishing itself as a popular choice among Indian SUV buyers. Drawing on Toyota’s global SUV heritage, the UC Hyryder combines bold styling, advanced technology and everyday practicality. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder continues to redefine benchmarks in the B-SUV segment with its self-charging strong hybrid electric powertrain, combining petrol and electric power to deliver fuel efficiency alongside smooth and refined performance.

The SUV is offered with two powertrain options: Self-Charging Strong Hybrid Electric and Neo Drive. The strong hybrid variant, paired with an e-drive transmission, delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.97 km/l. Meanwhile, the Neo Drive range is powered by a 1.5-litre K-series engine and is available with manual and automatic transmissions, as well as both 2WD and 4WD configurations.

Visually, the UC Hyryder features signature twin LED DRLs, a refined Crystal Acrylic Grille, sculpted body lines and stylish 17-inch alloy wheels. The cabin complements its exterior design with a premium equipment list that includes ventilated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera.
