The milestone represents a defining moment in India’s electric mobility journey and highlights the nation’s steady progress towards a sustainable, smart and self-reliant transportation ecosystem.

As India advances towards the vision of Viksit Bharat, electric mobility is increasingly emerging as a critical pillar of sustainable growth, energy transition and technological leadership. Among the early pioneers of the country’s electric vehicle movement, TVS Motor has played a pivotal role in shaping the segment through consistent investments in in-house engineering, research and development, product innovation and ecosystem expansion.

Designed, engineered and manufactured in India for global markets, the TVS iQube exemplifies the company’s commitment to self-reliance and technological excellence. The electric scooter combines Indian ingenuity with international benchmarks of quality, performance and sustainability, reinforcing the nation’s growing capabilities in advanced mobility solutions.

Commenting on the milestone, Sudarshan Venu, Chairman, TVS Motor Company said, “The rollout of one million TVS iQubes reflects the scale at which electric mobility is becoming part of everyday life in India. Since its introduction in 2020, the TVS iQube has evolved into one of India’s most preferred electric scooter brands and the country’s favourite family EV. Developed around the requirements of Indian consumers, the portfolio has steadily expanded to include multiple battery capacities, range configurations and connected technology features, allowing customers to select a model best suited to their mobility needs.

The brand’s growth has been supported by an extensive sales and service network comprising more than 3,300 touchpoints spread across over 3,000 cities. Coupled with ongoing investments in manufacturing capabilities and capacity expansion, this widespread presence has helped make electric mobility increasingly accessible to customers throughout the country.

Beyond commercial success, the TVS iQube has also contributed meaningfully to India’s sustainability objectives. The rapidly expanding community of TVS iQube riders has collectively played a significant role in accelerating the adoption of cleaner mobility solutions while delivering measurable environmental benefits.

Since launch, TVS iQube customers have collectively ridden more than 14.94 billion kilometres, helping avoid 522,969 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. According to the company, the carbon savings generated by the TVS iQube community are equivalent to planting nearly 20.9 million trees, highlighting the substantial environmental impact that electric mobility can achieve at scale.

The milestone serves as a powerful reminder of how individual mobility choices can collectively contribute towards India’s broader sustainability goals, energy-transition ambitions and long-term vision of a cleaner, greener transportation future. As electric mobility continues to gain momentum across the country, the one millionth TVS iQube stands as a testament to the growing confidence of Indian consumers in homegrown EV technology and the sector’s expanding role in shaping the future of mobility.
