NEW DELHI
As petrol prices continue to exert pressure across India, Ultraviolette has announced a new initiative designed to make the transition to electric mobility more accessible and rewarding for prospective two-wheeler buyers across the country.
At a time when consumers are increasingly scrutinising the overall cost of vehicle ownership, the performance electric motorcycle manufacturer is strengthening the economic case for electric mobility while introducing additional incentives to encourage adoption.
Under the newly announced proposition, riders can unlock benefits of up to INR 30,000 towards the purchase of an Ultraviolette motorcycle, based on their riding history and vehicle usage. By converting kilometres already ridden on petrol-powered two-wheelers into ownership benefits, the company is drawing attention to one of electric mobility’s most compelling advantages — freedom from recurring fuel expenditure without compromising on performance, technology, reliability, or the overall riding experience.
The initiative arrives amid growing consumer awareness around long-term ownership economics, with fuel costs continuing to remain a significant consideration for motorcycle buyers nationwide. Through this programme, Ultraviolette seeks to reward existing riding habits while making the transition to electric mobility more financially attractive.

Commenting on the announcement, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder, Ultraviolette, said, “The rising cost of petrol has been a topic of widespread discussion for some time now, but there has been relatively little action that directly helps consumers transition away from fuel dependency. At Ultraviolette, we believe the shift to electric mobility needs to be supported by tangible measures that make EV ownership more accessible and compelling, which is also in line with our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of fast-tracking EV transition. Through this programme, we are enabling prospective two-wheeler owners across India to make that switch with greater confidence, while benefiting from significantly lower running costs, advanced technology, and a superior ownership experience. As electric mobility continues to mature, our focus remains on accelerating adoption by making the transition easier and more rewarding for riders nationwide.”
The announcement further underscores Ultraviolette’s continued efforts to strengthen its position among India’s leading electric vehicle manufacturers. The company has steadily expanded its presence through sustained product innovation, a growing retail footprint, increasing customer adoption, and continued progress in international markets.
As India’s electric two-wheeler landscape evolves and matures, Ultraviolette remains focused on developing products that seamlessly combine advanced technology, exhilarating performance, and superior ownership value, while contributing to the broader shift towards sustainable mobility.
