Vega Auto strengthens Made-in-India helmet technology with REVO Optical Coated Visor manufacturing

Vega Auto, the parent company of premium helmet brand AXOR, has become India’s first manufacturer of locally produced REVO Optical Coated Helmet Visors, marking a landmark achievement for the country’s rider safety and helmet technology ecosystem.

The milestone follows an investment of more than INR 2 crore in advanced optical coating technology and precision manufacturing infrastructure, significantly enhancing India’s capabilities in the production of high-performance helmet components. The investment also supports Vega Auto’s plans to manufacture up to 2.4 million REVO Optical Coated Visors in the near future, further reinforcing its indigenous manufacturing capabilities.

While helmet innovation has traditionally centred on impact protection, AXOR believes rider safety begins much earlier—with what a rider is able to see. Built around the philosophy, “Protection Begins with Vision,” the REVO Optical Coated Visor represents the brand’s next step in advancing rider safety through enhanced visual performance.

Employing advanced multilayer optical engineering, the visor has been designed to manage glare more effectively in bright riding conditions, helping to reduce visual fatigue while maintaining optical clarity. The result is a riding experience that offers greater comfort, confidence and road awareness, particularly during extended daytime journeys.
