At the launch of the new Audi RS Q8, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head, Audi India, spoke to us about why 2025 was going to be a transitionary year for Audi, where their EV business was headed, and about the conscientious buyer’s choices. Excerpts from the interview… TOS: The Audi RS Q8 Performance – Who is this for and what makes it significantly different? BSD: I think what is most important for us is that we’re able to give a solution to our Q8 buyers because we’ve been selling that car for about four years now. What’s next for them? We are able to find solution for our Q7 or Q8 customers to bring them to this space, which is very exclusive and also customizable. But also 50% of the sales we expect to come from our own customers, and also another 50% to come from a conquest where we expect potential buyers to also come from other brands, so that is our intention. And I think it is a perfect fit, and also one of the most versatile cars because you don’t need a track to drive this car on a day-to-day basis. You can drive this every day to work and you
