After announcing its plans to enter the Indian market in 2019 and with the Coronavirus delaying Citroen’s official debut, the French manufacturer is all set to unveil the C5 Aircross SUV on February 1, 2021. The SUV will be a completely knock-down (CKD) product and will be assembled at the company’s plant at Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. There is nothing radical about the C5 Aircross’ design, but at the same time it does have some attractive styling elements that make it stand out from the rest of the pack. However, what it does possess, is a bossy front grille, manned with a split headlight cluster with unique square-shaped head lamps along with DRLs. Even though the C5 Aircross may come across as a crossover, it does offer an impressive ground clearance of 230mm. At the heart of Citroen’s core DNA is comfort and safety. The C5 Aircross is equipped with class leading hydraulic suspensions which ensure that this SUV can drive through the toughest roads with ease and without compromising on the comfort of the passengers.
