Over the last few years, Royal Enfield has been on a roll and has introduced some of the most iconic motorcycles in the country. Be it roadsters, cruisers or adventure motorcycles, the brand has nailed it in practically every segment out there. However, the Royal Enfield portfolio in India was missing a single-seater neo-retro styled bobber motorcycle, which led to the introduction of the Shotgun 650. The Shotgun 650 (Motoverse Edition) debuted at the Motoverse 2023, formerly known as Ridermania, in Goa in a unique colourway, and was limited to merely 25 units. The production-ready Shotgun 650 was launched in Jan 2024 with sales commencing at the same time. Here’s a look at what makes the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 special. Based on the SG650 Concept which had its global debut at EICMA 2021, Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, is built on the brand’s 650-Twin platform. It retains the majority of the elements from the Concept model such as cast aluminium nacelle, chopped fenders, fuel tank and angular bodywork. The motorcycle rides on ten spoke wheel rims and can be transformed from a single-seater to a dual-seater motorcycle in minutes. The floating solo seat is hand-stitched in black leather. Some of the
