Tata Altroz, the first hatch to receive the highest 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP is the brand’s flagship and most premium hatchback model in the Indian market. It is also the only vehicle in its segment to be offered in petrol, diesel and CNG versions. Recently, Tata Motors introduced a sportier and more powerful derivative of the Altroz in the form of the Altroz Racer in the domestic market with new features. Here’s what the buzz around Tata Altroz Racer is all about: Tata Motors has introduced the Altroz Racer with a new petrol engine and manual gearbox in three grades: R1, R2 and R3 at introductory prices of INR 9.49 lakh, INR 10.49 lakh, and INR 10.99 lakh, (Ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. Presented in a race car inspired exterior, Tata Altroz Racer gets three exterior colorways: Pure Grey, Atomic Orange, and Avenue White. There are a handful of cosmetic updates as well to distinguish it from the regular version of the hatchback. The Altroz Racer, flaunts white racing stripes on the bonnet and on the roof that come in a contrasting Black shade as standard.
